REMINDER FROM DEPUTY MATT - PICK UP & DROP OFF PROCEDURES
Posted Date: 9/01/25 (3:00 PM)
Dear Pioneer Elementary and Middle School Parents,
As we begin the new school year, I want to take a moment to welcome you back and share some important details regarding our pick-up and drop-off procedures.
Key Points to Remember:
-
School Schedule:
- Both schools start and end at the same time.
- Expect an increase in traffic during pick-up and drop-off due to the synchronized schedule.
-
Traffic Flow and Parking:
-
Pioneer Elementary:
- Cars should line up according to the attached graphic.
- Double-stacking will be used to maximize parking lot capacity.
- Keep E. Spencer Lake Road clear to prevent traffic jams and allow traffic to enter and exit smoothly.
- Overflow parking is available behind the bus area, but will be used only when directed by a parking lot attendant.
-
Pioneer Middle School:
- Enter the parking lot from the Agate side only.
- Avoid entering from Spencer Lake Road to prevent congestion.
- As with the elementary school, double-stacking will be used to manage traffic flow effectively.
- Deputy Matt or another traffic control officer will be on-site to assist with traffic management.
-
Pioneer Elementary:
-
Safety First:
- Our top priority is ensuring the safety of all students, parents, and staff during this process.
- Please be patient as we work through any challenges that may arise, and follow the directions given by parking attendants.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we navigate these changes. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me, “Deputy Matt” Colbenson.
Looking forward to a great school year ahead!
Best regards,
“Deputy Matt” Colbenson
