Lifelong Learning

Students’ attitudes toward learning develop early in their childhood. Make learning part of your family culture! Help your child to learn more about their favorite things and share your expertise with them, too.

Are you a master storyteller? Encourage your child to help you imagine new characters, places, or storylines.

Are you an amazing cook, mechanic, or plumber? Invite your child to work as your assistant, and teach them about the tools of your trade.

Build resiliency

The strategies and subjects that work best for one child may be incredibly challenging for another. Sometimes, we all feel like we want to give up when we’re struggling. When we struggle, resiliency helps us keep going and learning.

Not sure how to build resiliency? Get started with Resilience: How to Build it in Children 3–8 years.
