Dear Pioneer Families:

As we prepare for the new school year, I am reaching out with important student information for our families.

Students will be automatically enrolled in the Remote Learning 2.0 program unless they opt-out to attend the Pioneer Academy Home School Program.  Parents can opt-out to enroll in the Pioneer Academy Home School Program when they complete their loan agreement for a Chromebook on the Chromebook Loan Agreement and Opt-Out Waiver form that is posted on the website under the Parent tab and the link will be posted on Facebook. To get more information about the differences between the two programs, please look for additional information in our Reopening Pioneer Schools Guide located in the Reopening Schools Tab of our website. 

Please remember that parents must opt-out by Friday, August 28th.

Additional Family Information

  • Our annual Back-to-School night has unfortunately been canceled for this year because we are unable to meet social distancing requirements.
  • Your child's teacher will be contacting you for a Connection for Success conference between September 2nd and September 11th.  This conference will be an orientation to meet the teacher, get access to technology, and to learn about the new school year.
  • The first day of Remote Learning (first day of school) will be September 14th. 
  • Pioneer Home School Academy orientations will be scheduled once we have students enrolled in the program.  Families who opt-out for this program will receive information about their Connection for Success conference and orientation to the program after August 28th.
